Brandon has performed with Grammy-award winning artists Delfeayo Marsalis and Kebbi Williams, as well as ex-Christian Scott saxophonist Braxton Cook. He has also studied with acclaimed drummers Ari Hoenig, Dafnis Prieto and Dan Weiss. Brandon is the bandleader of Montreal-based jazz group B's Bees. The group can be seen at various venues around Montreal, and they have played at major jazz festivals and jazz clubs worldwide.
Nick has been a professional drummer and educator for over 10 years, playing in Musical Theatre productions and jazz bands. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Windsor. He has an adaptive approach to teaching, assisting each student in achieving their individual goals.
Mat is a professional musician and sound engineer in Montreal. He plays in the band Reign The Sky as well as his solo project Matwht1t. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Concordia University, where he studied both drums and guitar. Mat’s teaching style revolves around making sure the student has as much fun as possible while achieving their goals.
Dylan is a French drummer who has been sharpening his skills for more than a decade. He arrived in Montreal five years ago and has since played in most of its venues, from small bars to the Montreal Jazz Festival. He has experience in many genres and teaching styles, always pushing himself to be a better musician every day. He maintains an adaptive teaching style based on communication, coherence and progressive learning.
Studied under Brandon Goodwin for years before attending Vanier College. He plays around Quebec and Ontario in bands, playing both covers and original music. He loves transcribing songs that students want to learn, as well as writing out fun exercises.
Arthur Pascau Smith is a Montréal-based guitarist, bassist, and audio engineer originally from Vancouver. He has taught students of all ages privately and in groups, including at the Sarah McLachlan School of Music. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Music in Jazz and Contemporary Guitar and a Diploma in Sound Design. His projects Last Ark Out and Tiny Havoc have earned award nominations, arts residencies, and Canada Council funding.
